Ben was busy with the restoration and transformation of a courtyard in the late Qing Dynasty located in the eastern district of Qianmen, Beijing. While restoring the original three-entry structure of the courtyard, he creatively added three different forms of "bubbles" that look like alien objects from the sky. Art touches the community, new and old, tradition and future create a new space for dialogue in the old city. The restoration and transformation of No. 218 Xidamochang Street originated in the old city renewal research project "City South Plan-Qianmen East District 2014" co-sponsored by Tianjie Group, Tianan Time Contemporary Art Center and Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research in 2014 .
